Dirtt Walls for the clinic?
This week we went to Spider Agile Technology and check out DIRTT walls (made by the same company.) Why were we there? Well, DIRTT makes moveable, modular walls (such as the pic above) and is a fantastic environmentally-friendly technology company to boot. (Solar panels, reuseable product, etc.)
We were struck immediately by the potential applications for Pandosy Vet Hospital. We will be growing over time, and the potential to adapt, as well as the ability to write off our walls as furniture, might be really financially beneficial. Plus, with dirt walls, there is no wasted drywall and building supplies, and the set-up time is considerably faster. We aren't sure how much we might use the walls and where they will fit in our clinic, but we were impressed by the adaptability and look of their product.
We had lunch in their cafeteria (due to a carbon analysis, Spider decided to hire a chef to serve their employees and customers on site... yum!) and walked through the awesome displays. You'll have to come by our clinic this fall to check out the dirtt walls!
