Chiropractic Care for Pets
Certified, Professional Health Care
Pandosy Village Veterinary Hospital offers veterinary chiropractic care for patients to regain their mobility, comfort of movement, and stay in top shape! Our veterinarian Dr. Becky Bezugley has extensive experience in veterinary spinal manipulative therapy. Her training is sanctioned by the College of Animal Chiropractors and is in addition to her qualifications as a veterinarian.
Pandosy Village Veterinary Hospital is glad to accept referrals from other veterinarians from both the Okanagan Valley and beyond. We love working cooperatively with other primary care veterinarians and specialists.
Symptoms to watch for
Back pain is a largely under-appreciated and undiagnosed condition in our animal companions. Dogs or cats that suffer from back pain may:
- be less willing to exercise or play
- seem stiff, sore or weak
- have trouble with stairs
- be less willing to jump
- struggle to sit, lay down, or rise from a seated or prone position
Signs of acute back or neck pain may include:
- yelping after sudden movement or being lifted
- muscle spasms along the back or neck
- a hunched posture or unusual head position
- having difficulties eating or reaching their food and water bowls
- restlessness and seeming unsettled
