The Truth About Kitty Litter
We cat lovers have a simple short list of needs when it comes to kitty litter: no stink and no mess, thank you!
Unfortunately, clay litter used by so many cat owners doesn’t meet these requirements, and it’s horrible for the earth. Did you know that clumping kitty litter is made from bentonite clay, which is strip mined? Strip mining is irreparably destructive, literally peeling layers of the earth away, destroying habitat, polluting water and eroding soil. Read more.
But there is a better smelling, cleaner, and less harmful alternative!
The World’s Best Kitty Litter is Eco-Friendly!
At Pandosy Village Veterinary Hospital, we use a lot of kitty litter for visiting cats. Cleanliness, air quality and odor control are top priorities. And do you know what we use? World’s Best Multicat Lavender litter! (We love the lavender scent! But it also comes scent-free.)
Unlike clay cat litter, World's Best litter is made of corn, compressed into concentrated, absorbent, dry-free granules. It forms tight clumps when exposed to water, but is much much better at suppressing doors than the clay stuff. You use less, it smells better, and it’s cleaner around the litter box and in the air.
