Pandosy Village Veterinary Hospital is a young, vibrant hospital in the trendy Pandosy Village district of Kelowna. We are committed to offering our clients both alternative and conventional medicine, with services from dentistry and surgery, to acupuncture, chiropractic care, herbal medicine and nutritional therapy. Our well-rated hospital is the official partner of the University of British Columbia (UBC) Okanagan's BARK Therapy program.
As an integrated practice, our work is varied and challenging, and we never stop learning. Our amazing base of committed clients really want the best for their pets, and we provide the best medicine we can. As examples, we run pre-anesthetic bloodwork for every dental/surgical patient, we do in-house titre testing for immunity, and we offer multi-modality support for all chronic ailments. Recently, our technical staff have taken professional development in acupuncture support, nutritional therapy and dentistry support.
Our culture is warm, caring, family- and health-focussed. We have ten staff members, and we all enjoy walking and biking to work, hiking on the weekends, doing yoga and cooking healthy food. Our clinic has an informal, relaxed atmosphere. We rarely work any overtime, and we close all long weekends for family time.
Tour our hospital! Our facilities are bright, with two spacious exam rooms, a daylight surgical suite and brand new lab machines. Our clinic is, and has always been, completely paperless. Within our warm brick and glass facilities we also have a high end pet store, which our staff enjoy as much as our visiting furry clients. Your work would include preparing for and assisting in surgery and dentistry, running diagnostics, taking histories and coaching clients, participating in community events and more. You will be working with two veterinarians, one chiropractor and a team of passionate, committed staff.
You have a solid background in surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring, running lab work, and scaling teeth. Along with solid technical skills, we are looking for a technician who gets along well with others, self organizes, connects personally with clients and their pets, shares what they know, has a positive attitude and a drive to keep learning.

We have part to full-time work available for 1-4 days a week. Our clinic has been rapidly growing, and we are looking for additional support with surgery as well as medicine and wellness.
