Office Consultations with Dr. Jason Rowan
Fees for consultations are based on appointment extensiveness. The following are examples of suggested appointments. Note that both Dr. Jason and our competent hospital nurses will be consulting with you during this time. When you call for an appointment, the front desk staff will advise you on an appropriate consultation booking.
Prescriptions, herbal remedies, food, laboratory tests (such as bloodwork) and any subsequent surgery or treatments are not included in these fees.

It is very helpful for the doctor and nurses to have copies of any previous veterinary medical records and test results. At the time of booking, we will ask you about your previous veterinary visits and request copies of the medical records on your behalf, for your convenience.
Yes! Dr. Jason does house calls. Sometimes pets need to be seen and treated at home, because they are extremely agitated or uncomfortable outside of their home. Other times, pet guardians appreciate the privacy of their home environment, such as during a euthanasia. There are also a few households that have too many pets to bring into the clinic at one time. All are good reasons to have Dr. Jason come to you.
The following house call rates are charged in addition to the consultation fees. Please note that all fees for housecalls need to be paid by credit card.

Note that if you book a comprehensive consultation (see above) pre- or post-surgical, we will credit the targeted consultation amount towards the comprehensive consultation.
Please call for spay and neuter fees, which will vary depending on your pet's age, gender and health status. We will also discuss the optimal age of the surgery for different breeds, based on the newest available research.
Other Surgeries and Treatments
Fees for other surgeries and treatments, such as dental extractions, dental scaling, cancer removal, etc, the surgical suite, hospital stay, doctor and nurse time and prescriptions will be itemized on your bill separately. All surgeries and treatments require pre-surgical consultations.
